“My reptile children” is a gloriously Doctor Who-ish phrase.

Getting through the Blackwall Tunnel on a gig night is not fun. Last time we went to the O2 we nearly missed the start of the gig – which was not One Direction, just to make that clear. ;)

Today I think I have finally sorted out my photos from the England-France match on Saturday. At which my companion became something of a TV star. In all his French regalia, the camera picked him out pretty early on, and featured him jumping up and down every time his team scored. I think my feet have finally recovered from the Twickenham cold now.

Yay I am a timelord…my reptiles have magical powers too – the gift of spontaneous disappearance! Are you sure it wasn’t 1D?! Nah, I think you have better tastes somehow. You should make a thread and post some of the photies, would love to see!

I am sat in the MDC Office and can’t figure out whether or not I’m cold…and I’m being naughty as I’m drinking Dr Pepper as opposed to tea. I am sure my typing has got quicker!

Must be useful being a timelord, I’ve often fancied that as a special power. ;)

Honest it wasn’t One Direction! It was the mighty Pogues, who are about as far from 1D as you can imagine. Photographic evidence here (you get a bloomin’ good view from the wheelchair enclosure at the O2): http://www.flickr.com/photos/15437467@N07/sets/72157632302526274/

Today I have been to the surgery and made a ludicrous number of appointments for the next few weeks. Arrived home to find the lovely postman has delivered an enormous pile of proofs for me to work through. Oh joy.

For my sins I edit a web site about a musician. Recently he has been on tour with his famous father so that means work for me, lol.

The past couple of days I have been editing videos and piecing them back together again, converting to go into the editor and reconverting for uploading to the web. Adding titles and © details, already having sourced written permissions

I am waiting for some people to get back to me before I can start the new photo album, but before then each new photo needs touching up, resizing and © adding.

Then the headache begins as I create the page graphics, input the text and code it accordingly, code the review page so it ‘looks good’ when viewed in any browser – upload it to the server and watch it all go wonky!!

So if over the coming week i seem to spurt and babble complete …. bunkcome …. thats my excuse

Apart from that, I have mostly been wrestling with a very tedious set of proofs, and thinking that if I could only stop messing about with other stuff and get on and finish them, I could treat myself to an extended lunchbreak and a wander up to the park, as it’s the sunniest day we’ve seen here for ages.

On Saturday I jumped 12,000ft out of a plane, to raise funds and awareness for the Muscular Dystrohy Campaign, for their Make Today Count. It was one of the most amazing, exhilarating experiences of my life. I was also lucky enough to spend the day meeting other skydivers and supporters of the charity, which, being stuck in the office everyday, is something I rarely get to do. I am always amazed by the dedication of our supporters and the time and energy they give to fundraising.

Thanks to everyone for supporting me, and helping me reach my target, and to everyone who supported the Make Today Count campaign.

I wish every day was as fun as Saturday!!

Yes, I echo that sentiment. Thank you very much.

Today I have been using my tablet whilst in bed. Have recently started “tagging” paintings forYOUR PAINTINGS website. I love looking at paintings. Check out the site.

Agree with sybyllascarlett, what are hairdressers coming to these days? Mind you, given his tendency to right-wing conspiracy theories, a bit of silence from my hairdresser would not be unwelcome.

Today I escaped from work and an endless succession of annoying emails for a couple of hours and went out for lunch with a couple of friends, both of whom have different disabilities. We try to meet up once a month for a good old chat about life, the universe and everything. And a good old moan about the injustice of it all. Makes you feel better.

Today I ventured out into the icy snowy conditions that is plaguing the ‘burgh at the moment for a 20 min hospital appointment concerning my eyes. No deterioration which is as good news as I’m ever gonna get but sometimes I wish the appointments weren’t so short to make the hassle of going worth it… I shan’t thumb my nose at ‘good’ news anyhow.

    What about second breakfast?
