This looks rather interesting to me. I’m not the most cultured or well educated soul but, I do like some of the names involved with this app & I’m considering purchasing it. I have tried to read some of the works of Shakespeare before & have struggled tbh with ye olde worldy English. I have got a book of the works but, I can’t even lift the bleeping thing now.
Hope it appeals to some of you too

It does sound very good but at £ 9.99 it is about ten pounds more than I usually pay.
Theb App phenomenon is almost always such that you can get whatever you want or need for free.

The November edition will focus on technology, and these apps and your brilliant recommendations fit absolutely snugly into the theme. May I, may I, please?
Thanks everyone!

RuthFeel free !!
Apps are good.
For people with disabilities, the myriad of new light-weight super responsive capacitive
touchscreen tablets using Apps will be an important part of the future."Even if you are not paranoid, it does not mean they are not out to get you!".
September 12, 2012 at 3:05 pm #83695Re: The Appy Corner…..Fantastic – thank you! I think the information is super valuable and, yes, as you say, taungfox, these apps and more will be an important part of the future.
Thanks!
RuthSeptember 12, 2012 at 4:48 pm #83696Re: The Appy Corner…..Sure, Apps are amazing. Cheap, mainstream applications that are life changing and life enhancing if you can afford a device to run them on. Speaking of which I have a date with the iPhone 5 launch
September 13, 2012 at 9:36 am #83697Re: The Appy Corner…..How exciting, Louise! You’ll have to let us all know what you think – I was reading in the Metro this morning that Apple describes it as their ‘most beautiful’ iPhone yet! You’ll have to let us know if it is … :-)

……………….with the iPhone 5 launch
The iPhone 5 has been launched.
Very exciting. It has a stunning larger 4 inch retina display screen. It is slimmer,
lighter yet more powerful with the A6 chip and an enhanced camera. As a special thank you to all the loyal customers who have supported them over the years our
good friends at Apple have changed the dock connector from the universal 30 pin connector
to a new “Lightning” port. This immediately makes obsolete all the docks, speakers, clock
radios that you have bought over the years for your Apple gadgets. Fear not though Apple
have shown us a new adaptor that solves the problem. This is a very small piece of kit that
obviously costs less less than a pound to manufacture in the Chinese factories and Apple
are pleased to sell it to you for only £ 25.00.Glad we are all in this together.

September 20, 2012 at 3:16 pm #83698Re: The Appy Corner…..Not a new App, but the new Apple operating system IOS 6 that was realeased
yestrerday gives several new features to the “App Store”.The biggest one of these is a new “Genius” button.
Click on the Genius button and it shows you Apps that you will like based on the
interests you demonstrate by choosing the Apps that you do.Immediately found four exciting new Apps using this, incsluding a stunning

December 13, 2012 at 8:28 am #83707Re: The Appy Corner…..Dunno if anybody saw this story ?
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-sussex-20668241A clever little app takes a pic of somebody if they incorrectly enter your personal access key. Enabling hopefully to identify a person that shouldn’t have your property, as in the instance of this unfortunate lady  .
The app’s called ‘Gotya ! Face trap’ & for somebody like me that takes my phone out with me & is paranoid about it being snatched from me, it’s £1.99 I have no hesitation in investing in. After taking the picture, it acquires the location of your device and forms a Google maps link, sending it with the timestamped picture to your email/Facebook!
Haven’t got itunes on the pc anymore because ipad updates can be done OTA & the ipad’s in the bedroom as we speak so, I can’t tell if it’s available for the iphone but, I hope so
December 13, 2012 at 11:54 am #83708Re: The Appy Corner…..Now that is a snazzy app. Siple security for £1.99, just got to remember to lock the device before soeone attempts to nab it!

Following recent upgrades this App now functions as a fully featured remote control
for your Television. The TV peeps only ever give you one remote control and mine always gets lost. Now
suddenly after years of turning the air blue it matters not a jot. With this App
I just pick up my Nexus 7 or one of my iPods.Has a seven day Electronic Program Guide and you can even record programmes
from 200 yards away in your garden."Even if you are not paranoid, it does not mean they are not out to get you!".
