    Hello friends,

I have missed a lot over the past few months, mainly due to my own health problems but also because we have had a bereavement in the family and there has been a lot of admin stuff to do. But now that things are more settled I shall resume logging in each day to keep up with what’s going on.

I do hope everyone is enjoying the summer [despite the recent bad weather]. David and I visited Eastbourne 2 Sundays ago to see the poor burnt pier – and have Welsh rarebit followed by bubble gum ice cream at the famous Fusciardis ice cream parlour!

    best wishes,

    Hi Sybylla :waving:

Good to have you back! Fusciardis is the best place for ice cream isn’t it? Am yet to drive by the pier but I’ve seen plenty of photos and video footage.

Today I have tried to do a few useful things amongst the sitting staring out the window and trying to get warm. I renewed my CEA card (cinema card for free carer admission) – something ticked off the list! I even tackled my tray come inbox come dumping ground for anything without an obvious home :D

    Steady on Sar!!

I have been working on my long-term to-do list. Factory swept my old Mac ready for it to be boxed up and sent to recycling. Wrote my little jobs to-do list … played a few match-3 games … washed my hair … fudged about here … had lunch …

    All thoroughly riveting stuff

had a bit of a wasted day myself. d welled in bed dozing on and off. waited on aerial repair dude to fit new aerials to roof after one flew away over weekend. back to work tomorrow so will have to drag myself together and go wash hair. trying to find a fence repair company to fix storm damage to back fence without replacing the whole lot or needing a bank loan for 3 post.

will now have to add CEA card to my list mines is up in feb.

Sorry Cat has fencing problems and glad AMG knows how to sweep
    wearing her Mac.

Felt I deserved a “lie in” today.

Lasted about 40 seconds as an MD “lose-gripping” type thing happened and my
New extra large birthday mug dropped 500 Ml of scalding hot tea all over the bedding. This time not
on any skin so no somersaults. Just hours of putting on clean stuff and washing and trying to
dry stuff on a monsoon day.

Shall I phone up the insurance people. Cannot deal with that on top off this.

Rest of day irretrievably attached to sofa!

Somehow missed the audible alerts and have missed the pills. Blurred vision back,
But that is when have the full dose… Or did I take the full dose?

    Going to bed early.

Corr I hate those massive mugs I always get my tea down my front by completely missing my face! I am so glad it got the bedding and not you… Go to bed early – that way you will miss the awful weather. Hope you feel better soon x

    morning peeps.
I woke up this morning in a great mood. that was until I went online and a friend had sent me the following link.
all I can say is that it totally disgusted me and I hope people boycott this cinema chain

I do find it hard to believe that the machine could be that distracting over the noise of the film!

More to the point, cinema screening halls are deafening – I can’t believe that a ventilator would be a distraction at all. Even if it was, people should suck it up!
