What is in your bag of tricks?

I have been slowly building a collection of portable essentials for getting around in the world with a wheelchair.

    Current kit is

    A Radar Key

    A portable battery for electronics

    Emergency disposable urinals

    Wheelchair raincoat

    Multitool

Hat and scarf / sunblock and sunhat

I want to have mini portable wooden ramp wedges made soon.

Books and kindles seem too obvious to mention.

I am thinking of making a big sack for the back so I can hold a big portable folding ramp or camping table and chairs for Summer picnics.

Should probably also add a medical kit of some kind.

    Currently I have this sidebag:

    And this backpack:

    Anyone have any recommendations ?

Oh blimey, and pop,e moan about the hidden depths of a woman handbag!

As I do not venture far my kit consists of the radar key [when remembered] and my purse, lol.

    In addition to many above…

    Drinking straws.

    Lightweight fork.

Magnet on key ring to unlock wheelchair if electronics freeze.

Insulating tape if tubing tears or wires exposed, many uses this one

    Spare vent wire

Mobile phone programmed with all sorts of useful peeps – Motability, wheelchair engineers…

    Wow……Glad you are so prepared.

Since moving to a mobility scooter I have had to have two bags one over
the back of the seat, one behind my feet with about twenty items for
    the inevitable problems.

Now I see I must make lists and be mite organised rather than just chuck
stuff in. Will use your list as a template. Thanks.
