I thought I would highlight a services to you boys that you may or may not be aware of. The NHS Well Man Clinics. These are basically NHS mot clinics that men can attend for a variety of personal health monitoring. See your GP for local clinic.

ie. What health checks do well man clinics offer?

The range of tests and health checks may vary between clinics, but any of the following may be assessed:
your lifestyle, including diet, exercise, alcohol and smoking
medical history
weight and height
blood pressure
cholesterol
a urine test for diabetes or kidney infection
hearing and vision
lung function
an electrocardiogram (ECG) to check for heart problems
a chest X-ray, if you’re a heavy smoker

they also give advice on sexual health and safety. services differ by area but some also offer advice on how to check for lumps both male breast and testicular.

Well man clinics are not a substitute for GP but valuable service just the same.
