Urgent action needed to ensure EVERY disabled child matters

Hello all,

The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign is currently working alongside its partner Law Firm in developing a response to the governments new Children and Families Bill. This bill, if passed, will have a major affect on children that do not have a Statement of Special Educational Needs. These children will be left without access to

• Simplified access to integrated education, health and social care;
• A ‘local offer’ setting out all the services available in their area.

As part of our response I would love to hear from any parents who have been denied a SEN statement from their local authority and why they were denied one. With your help we can hopefully ensure that all disabled children matter!
