I use the control unit myself so that I can turn and tilt myself at night – I am able to press the buttons and hook it over my wrist do that I can always reach it. There is also the option to use a box which will program when a movement is needed for example, a tilt one way after 4 hours of being in bed however I have never used it so cannot tell you more about that.
The bed solved many problems for me: Back ache, indigestion and reflux, having get people up 3 to 4 times a night and health and safety of carers attending to me.
