I use a baltic turning bed and I wouldn’t be with out it. I can’t at the moment think of any cons other than it takes a little getting used to at first.

I have the same bed as Vicki and i couldn’t manage without mine either. I use the control unit myself so that I can turn and tilt myself at night – I am able to press the buttons and hook it over my wrist do that I can always reach it. There is also the option to use a box which will program when a movement is needed for example, a tilt one way after 4 hours of being in bed however I have never used it so cannot tell you more about that.

The bed solved many problems for me: Back ache, indigestion and reflux, having get people up 3 to 4 times a night and health and safety of carers attending to me.

I have the timer box and its great. The bed can be set to automatically roll at half hour, 1hr, 2hrs or 4hrs depending on what you prefer. I have it set to 1hr and I’m so used to it now I sleep through it when it rolls.

yes this is the most valuable thin that there is a timer function in the bed.. you can program according to whenever you want to change your positions.. half hour one hour etc tilt right/left.. so you only have to put minimum amount of effort.. its sure is costly though
