    transfer boards

    think i asked this before but cant find it.

    what dept would teach me how to use a transfer board.

    not purchased one as not sure what one. is its possible to transfer from a wheelchair with fixed side.
    i have hurt my back and need to rest it.

    Have you searched YouTube? I looked on there before deciding which board to get myself.

    You can consider a curved sliding board which can be used with chairs with fixed sides. This is just an example:

    Otherwise, get your GP to refer you to the community OT who can assess and hopefully provide you with a board FOC! :D
