    stool samples with duchenne

    Hi our 5 year old son has recently been diagnosed with duchenne, he has been coplaining of stomach pains and his stools have never been quite normal but now he seems to be passing white stools with spots of blood. Please can anyone tell us if this is a symptom of Duchenne or not and what we should do???

    Whether it is DMD related or not, I would strongly advise seeing you GP about this. Any blood in a stool is cause for concern especially in a youngster.
