Another straw poll if I might? I am just recovering (I hope) from two weeks of being very ill with something. Started as a cold and got worse. During that time rest was made even more difficult by Resltess Leg Sysndrome, and sometimes arms as well. What little I know of the condition suggests that those of us with MD may be rather prone to it. So I was just wondering if that was true, and thus what evryone’s experience of it was, if any?

So many love songs, so little love.

Catatude what does your mum do on those occasions? I know I do not eat a balanced diet, I am a caffeine allergic, diabetic vegetarian who doesn’t like veg, so I have some problems. Your advice would be appreicated.

Lol Mike. how can you be a veggie who dont like veg.

My mum eats a Banana every morning and has a supplement form Holland and Barrett which her Gp advised. it helps.

Try making a list of what you do eat. google each item to see if it can induce leg cramps.

Look at what your drinking.. dehydration can make salt levels drop and cause cramping.

Thank you for that. Drinling is easly I have about 300 mls a day, mostly Pepsi or juice. Eating is dead easy, cornflakes and pot noodles, occasionally my own mac and cheese when my daughter can make it. I don’t have the time, ability or indeed inclination to cook anything so I have been losing weight quite nicely over the past few years.
But being a veggie and not liking veg, not really surprising. After eating nothing but for 40 years you can only get excited by it for so long. Go out for a meal in a “British” restaurant and the slop they offer puts you off too. Indian or Chinese though is a different matter.
I don’t midn really I can manage most of the time. I will try the banana advice, and I will look for the supplement.

    Many thanks
