Hi all. Just wandering if anyone here has been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis?

Not yet, is that an MD thing? My granny had that but like with everything in her life, she never complained. I wish I could say the same!

Ems are you thinking of in addition to MD. I know there is a feeling on this forum that too little attention is aid to co existing conditions.

Ranald it’s an auto immune disease. My mum has it. Mike I have had a feeling for months about having it. Then the last couple weeks my finger joints were hurting and then my toes. Now my knee :( the fatigue hit me like a ton of bricks, not just in the legs like usual but everywhere. I have a mild fever. Called the doctor Tuesday to ask if she would be ok to do the blood tests for it which was happy to do. Phoned Friday for the results. Only two were back as the other two take 2 weeks. The two that came back were both abnormal :( I’m speaking with the doctor Tuesday so will see what she says with the first two blood results. I am pretty convinced it will be that as me and my mums symptoms are very similar at times. I have a feeling that muscle disease and joint damage is not a great combo together! Does anyone have an autoimmune disease with their md? But fingers crossed the others don’t come back abnormal and the pains are just fatigue related.

Joint pain can come from a number of sources but at least you are the right hands to find out what is going on. I do hope you come back when you have more blood data as I would be curious what is at the bottom of it all.
