    I just wondered if any of you are as offended as I am at the idea we should all be swearing fealty to a “king”? I will be unblocking the sink that day, sorry!

    Luckily there were 4 Scottish top flight games to listen to, plus my team were promoted the evening before. There was therefore no need for any Mr Muscle based entertainment!

    There is no sink to unblock, I was just trying to highlight my opposition to the pseudo-religious fawning last Saturday. You wouldn’t have know there was anything on where I live, a relative in Hertfordshire, they had a street party and as much jingoism as one could possibly eat!

    Same here but on a nearby town’s promenade there was literally miles of them. I was forced to recall all the money spent on helping people manage their budgets as so many could not afford to eat and heat. Then there was this gigantic waste. But it was everywhere, across all the TV channels, radio and even overseas radio. No comment as to who has benefitted from the money that everyone has spent?
