    PIP SALUS & ATOS

    hi need your help guys,

A family member of mine is going for a assessment for PIP next week. she has never claimed before but is in ill health.

to help her prepare I was wondering if anyone could tell me what they will ask and how she should present herself.

What should she wear. smart or casual

what will they ask. are they allowed to do a physical exam.

Shes worried about how to put across how her conditions affects daily life without sounding rehearsed.

cant find the questionnaire we had. if anybody know where it is can you send me the link.

    Hello,

Many thanks for getting in touch. I’m Rosanne Diaz, Information Manager and I work with our supporters to help go through benefits process, including PIP applications.

Can I pass on my contact number and email address?

I would be happy to talk the process through with your family member ahead of the appointment. With assessments like this, preparation really does help. It is a very good idea to log a diary of the things that your family member struggles with, starting today, and up to the appointment. This diary can be shown in the appointment. There are lots of other tips too – and would be very happy to talk these through over the phone.

    Kind regards,

    Rosanne
