    Just noticed that you have added a “delete post” button.

    People had worried about this before, having to add apologies and explanations, rather than just deleting
    the post. Thanks Jenna.

    Sorry I am confused (even more than usual).

    Now I cannot find the “delete post” button. Thought it was when you are in “edit mode”. Maybe
    you have nuked it already.

    Actually I was not complaining. It was good in that when people realised they had in the heat of the moment
    said something rude about one of our noble politicians we were no able to delete it just
    a confusing amendment.

    This is what I am talking about. This was originally a horrible post by myself accusing
    nice people of doing allsorts of horrible things. Turns out it was all my fault anyway. Now I have
    to cover it up by editing it and pretending I was just posting some poetry. Last week when I
    did an even worse one I was able to find a “delete post” button and no one knew of my shame.

    Are we being spell checked? Where’d you find that whizzy button??

    I hate the auto text thingy on my iPad, wish I culd turn it off, it rarely ever pre-empts the correct word and buggers up all my pronouncements. I will have to check but I think my iPad it set as english rather than american english, I know my kindle is.

    There is nothing obvious that I can find which shows the ability for a member to delete posts…I’ll triple check but hopefully it was nuked already :)

    Thank goodness Jenna is back. I was convinced I had mortally offended her.

    Sorry you have been poorly.

    I have worked out the delete button thing. When a person adds a post, while that
    is the latest post there is a “delete button” on your post only. This has been useful
    when I shoot off my mouth before thinking and say rotten things about Jenna and
    our political”betters”

    The button is a square with bevelled corners containing a black cross. When you
    hover over it it becomes a red cross on white background and can be actioned.

    Noo I’m never easily mortally offended! You can’t scare me off that easily :mrgreen: Thanks for letting me know about this, I will look into it ASAP

    The delete post button has gone.

    Cannot speak for others but I liked it. It was useful. Could not delete my “Test” post as I had hoped.

    I hit the right buttons then, good to know it has gone – it was never supposed to be there.
