    Thanks Vicki,
    had been worrying about the new rates for ages.

    3 % rise. I thought they would claw something back
    from us on these rates.

    I didn’t think they would go up much either but its better than I thought.

    Isn’t the % rate pre-fixed?

    I thought it was fixed at the rate of inflation on a given date – still, time to save save save until the new cuts take it all away again :lol:

    They set them in September if I remember correctly. But your right about saving, I’m doing the same

    That is the thoughts of everyone. We must “save for a rainy day”.

    On my blacker moments I cannot help but think, what is the point saving for a rainy
    day when what is heading for us is the worst monsoon / tsunami / hurricane ayneone
    has even seen. They have made their very own “Perfect Storm” and we are the
    “Andrea Gail”.

    Know what you mean, I keep switching from save-save-save-cutback-befrugral to “the flood is here, spend, do, be”
