it can be incredibly difficult to self diagnose which type of MD you may have, even the professionals get confused. The only definite way is a genetics test, but I realise this may be difficult for you Fizamama, I do not know what is available to you in your home country.

The main site has some very helpful information on the different types of MD – here is the link to the downloadable information http://www.muscular-dystrophy.org/how_we_help_you/publications

Other than saying you have Muscular Dystrophy have the Doctor’s hinted as a specific type at all?

I seen this at a mobility show once and it looked alright. Its basically a lower step joined to a stick that lets you take smaller easier steps. I got a builder to change my outside steps from 5 really high steps to 7 lower steps so its not as much of a struggle.. building work is not always possible and I cant change the steps everywhere I go. this aid looks handy.

Will try and add a picture.
