My article on going to Football.

    Good afternoon,

I wrote an article on going to football and how i deal with it , it was supposed to raise awareness of MD and share my experience… It’s gone through the roof! 10,000 hits and still going strong!

Cheers , i did wanted it to be read from a fans and readers perspective , club was irrelevant… and as i said to raise awareness of the condition and just to get a feel from people to get a response to how it was written.

    Thank you.

Wow, Martin – congratulations! I read your article a while back – and thought it was really great. I’m so thrilled to hear you’ve had this fantastic response, and are reaching so many people and raising awareness about muscular dystrophy. Really well done.

I’ve left a comment on your follow-up piece.

    Have a lovely weekend

Little bruv was reluctant to write about his match day experience but, a gentleman on that site encouraged him. The response from his fellow Leeds supporters has been very encouraging, supportive & full of admiration for the effort he & sometimes his wife, Michelle, make to travel so far to follow his beloved team (it’s an effort for Michelle cos she supports Chelsea :-( !).

All of my family & I could not hide the proud smiles as we read. Well done bruv.

Ps, We still dunno why he supports em, he was born in Northampton

If it’s Saturday 11th August I can’t bruv. Assuming me chariot will be fixed by then I’m going to WHL for the last pre-season friendly before the season starts. I can though if it ain’t sorted. Blloming people hadn’t even sourced the damaged fork when I rang on Monday to progress it. I sent pictures of the damage in an email two weeks prior to that :-(
