This summer when outside walking I have found that the increase in temperature when the sun comes out affects me quite quickly. It’s like flicking a switch, the energy drains from me and I need to focus hard on walking until I can find a bit of shade.
Being menopausal I generally dress as light as I can without risking getting cold legs when sitting, and layer the top half and lower legs. Perhaps the menopause plays a part too.
I wonder if anyone may have experienced something similar.
Hi there, that’s interesting. Thinking about it though i suppose people without md probably experience similar energy drops due to hot weather. I find the longer i walk for and that’s by no means any great length of time my legs feel like they have weights on them i also experience joint pains due to osteoarthritis which i feel maybe caused by the muscle wasting .i have gone out for evening walks a couple of times and i have the same problem even though it is a little cooler.
