    Level access shower success.

That isn’t bad going. I only asked the housing association for a level access shower last month, and it is fitted already! I suppose it must be down to a postcode lottery, as with so many things.

I really can’t believe how easy it is to wash now, no more pulling the sink off the wall, climbing into the bath! ;)

The waste pump is a bit of a weird device, what with all the gurgling and bubbling. If that is my only criticism though, i am doing pretty well!

Actually AMG, the housing association were about to embark on a replacement bathroom programme in my block. I called them and told them their was no point in fitting a new bath, not when it would have to be removed in the near future.

For once, luck was on my side!

I’m currrently waiting to be rehoused again cos the bungalow I’m in isn’t big enough for the chariot. All rooms are too small & doors not wide enough. My O.T. told me though, not to move or bid on a property that doesn’t have a wet room currently cos otherwise I may have to wait up to eighteen months to have one installed (I have one here now & I’m used to it although I have fallen over the chair twice when down, once completely & pulled me curtains down on the way as I somersaulted. A good score of 9 I think off anybody for artistic improvisation at least). So, combination of that neccesity & level one access means I’m likely to wait for some time longer. I can manage just until I rely on the chariot more indoors… or practise more freestyle acrobatics without protective helmet

That is exactly how I feel even after three months of my new shower. The pure luxury of having no
worry or possibility of pain and just sitting there letting the water fall over you. heaven.

No let’s get Woogy sorted out !
