Keeping legs a bit warmer in winter

I’ve recently discovered that tubular support bandage is ideal to help keep my knees and legs warm now that the cold weather has started.

I bought mine in Boots [Superdrug also sell them], cut it in half and put one half over each leg, from my ankle to just over my knee. They stay up better than long socks and are warmer. Obviously, you have to make sure you get a size that’s right for you, as you don’t want to impair your circulation.

Granted, they don’t look sexy but under trousers, nobody can see them!

    Neat idea.

I have some ‘armies’ I wear them when I go to bed and read, they keep my arms warm while holding the kindle/book.

Do have a few armies and leggies! Also my long legged and long sleeved thermals
that I wear for the winter months.

For years have had good old hot water bottles, but There are accidents. My “Tipper” kettle
and MD affected hands and arms are a disaster recipe. Boiling water and skin do not mix well.
Always hid the hot water bottles from the O.T. Lady.

Now found a wonderful replacement that is SAFE!

The heatpad……. Three hours of heat for 1 Penny!

Even put them in the washing machine.

This week even a cheaper one at Lidl £ 15.

I tried in vein to explain the Hokey-Cokey to my Estonian Wife recently, whilst demonstrating sat in me armchair.

Let’s just say it’s a good job she loves me cos she was in a mixture of tears & laughter.

Altogether now #WHOOOOOA HOKEY COKEY COKEY  WHOOOOOA HOKEY COKEY COKEY# :guitar:

LOL, we would need one of those high speed cameras, so the footage could be slowed right down to find the winner, lol
