    hi everyone i am a carer for my daughter whos 8 she carrys md duchene type just looking for someone to talk to out there

    Hi, just joined the forum and I am a duchenne carrier – I’m 43, so a little bit older than your daughter! I have a son aged 15 who has duchenne.

    Hi i am sandra i am 53 years old and i am a duchanne carrier also. I have a 20 year old son with duchane who is in a wheelchair.

    This problem cause a muscular dystrophy that have a less X chromosomes that prevents the release of dystropin to the body. This also can cause heart problem.

    Hi there,
    I am a carer, my son has DMD. I just joined a few days ago.I really needed somewhere to vent as sometimes it is extremely difficult to carry on caring for someone you love and not get angry about the situation.

    Vent away … quite a few of our members do, sometimes fighting the system and struggling with every day life really stresses.
