    Holiday Meds

The holiday season is upon us and many are going away to different countries. Has anyone experienced any problems taking there medications with them, as they might be a banned substance, and if so what did you do?

You need to get a letter from GP saying what they are. what for and you need them and sometimes complete a airline form. Especially if in hand luggage which is recommended encase the hold case goes its own trip. Liquids can be issue. Keep meds in plastic bags. Taking a paper prescription is handy for places like spain as you will be able to buy most meds if anything happens to yours.

Vents, airline medical luggage waiver needed even if you wont need to use. The vents must stay with you.

Keep meds in original sealed packs.

Thanks Cat. That is what I have tried to organise, but I was told by the place I am going that I would be arrested if I brought some of my meds in, despite doctors letters etc. I am beginning to wonder if it is a good idea to go.
