    Holiday Insurance

I was diagnosed with Limb Girdle Muscular Dystrophy back in January. Since then i have also found out i have got 60% lung capacity and cardiomyopathy. I am wanting to go to New York next March for 4 nights. Over the past couple of days i have been looking for different travel insurance quotes. Some companies won’t even give me a quote and the rest are really expensive. My problem is that even though i have these illnesses, i’m not bad yet but there is no way of telling the insurance companies this. Has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions of insurance companies i can use?
    Thank you
    Lauren :)

Hello and welcome to the forum. It sounds like and exciting trip. It does highlight the problems we face in getting insurance though.
I cannot fly any ore because I am down to half a lung that works and my GP has said I cannot go in even a pressurised aircraft so the link below is one I was receommended but not used.
