Free cinema pass for disabled carers

I’m sure this is probably already known but I thought I’d pass it on anyway. I applied onine and had an immediate email that I qualified and it might help with people socialising as this disease can make you a bit depressed now and again ;)

The CEA Card is a national card scheme developed by the Cinema Exhibitors’ Association (CEA) for UK cinemas. The scheme was introduced in 2004 and is one of the ways for participating cinemas to ensure they make reasonable adjustments for disabled guests when they go to the cinema; in particular it ensures a complimentary ticket for someone to go with them.

It’s a national service that covers over 90% of cinemas

I have one, it’s brilliant although I wish you could pay for a few years at a time (an admin charge of £6) as it means I have to get a photo done every year  :?
