I joined as a free member to get access to newsletters and things.I pay out enough in subs to various places already. Cynical as I am I have always foudn the ‘benefits’ from these groups are limited. However, tehy do use their voice to speak on beahlf of us disabled rivers sp adding your voice to theirs by joining can only be good.
Perhaps you also saw the article on NNC yesterday indicating how many disabled drivers are losing their cars because of teh PIPs policy. The government thinks it is ok to deprive disabled folk the capability to move around their area.

I have been a member for so long, I can’t even remember, and although I gave up driving about 18 months ago, I am still a member as I feel it keeps me in touch with the motoring community. After all, I am still sometimes a passenger.

I don’t know if the discounts are any good as I never took advantage of any of them. However, the monthly magazine is well worth reading and as Mike says, the organisation does a lot to promote the rights of disabled drivers.

    I would reccomend joining!
