    Concerning nocturnal emissions…

My teenage son has Duchenne, but he is still a teenager. And as everyone who has teenage boys or was one knows, they have to occasional nocturnal emissions or wet dreams. My concerns and what has triggered my search for help, stem from his obvious embarrassment at his Dad having to clean him up. I am wondering if anyone has personally or otherwise devised a method of avoiding any major cleanup.

It’s one of the most natural things there is. I would try and be light hearted about it. The last thing you want is for him to feel tense about it. Practically you could place some large tissues into his underwear on going to bed which makes the clean up easier and celebrate the fact that he’s normal.
