    Carer's Interview

I am helping put together One Voice, a magazine compiled and published by the Neuromuscular Centre in Winsford. The next edition is to include interviews with carers, family, friends, PAs etc. IS anyone out there preoared to stick their neck out and answer a few questions please? Anonymously if necessary. AS you can appreciate such insights can be very helpful to those who are newly diagnosed.

    I’ll ask my PAs.

I have been sent a list of questions from the NMC, if you could pass them on to your carers and let me have a response back sometime next week please. I think you may have my home email address.

How has life changed since a diagnosis of Muscular Dystrophy in your family?

What information, services, support have you found helpful?

What information or support would have made your life easier?

How did you hear about the NeuroMuscular Centre and how has the Centre helped you?

    Were there any unexpected positives?

What do you do to look after yourself?

    Many thanks

    Hi,

Does it have to be carers of people that have been that particular centre?

Also, those questions seem to be geared towards relatives who are carers rather than PAs?
