    Bloating with NIV

    Hi,

    Wondering if anyone here was recommended to use Infacol for bloating/wind due to ventilator use. Resp team have advised me to use it but not given a dose. Only dose I can see online is for babies.

    Hi Gill

    Been using this for about 18 years now having been recommended by prev Resp Dr registrar. I use a full bottle of the infant one.

    The active ingredient is Simethicone and the adult version comes in a much larger bottle and is sometimes easier to get from your GP.
    I find the Infant one faster working but its more expensive, Ive been capped at a certain number of infant bottles a year then I buy myself. Really any colic med will help.
