    Anyone else enjoy gardening?

I feel it is another sign I’m in my 40s but I’m getting into gardening. When I say gardening, I mean learning about and instructing rather than doing but all the same, it’s bringing me a lot of pleasure all of a sudden. I have started watching Gardeners World  My dear old Dad would be so proud!

I had a flower bed dug this year and it’s really looking grand at the minute.

Gardening is such a wonderful thing!

We can do it at our own pace and choose exactly which plants
we want and where and how to grow them. Some of them even
come back year after year after year.

I have had to move from a large garden to a tiny courtyard garden
but enjoy finding the perfect plants for the smaller spaces.

Monty Don always gives good advice on Fridays!

Such a peaceful thing to do, takes you away from all the stress
    and hassle.

Thanks for sharing this great idea.

I enjoy my garden, but sadly cannot enjoy gardening. Two major problems, the first being our garden is uphill and getting up there is an increasing problem. The second is chickens. My daughter keeps five chickens in our garden and they will eat almost anything green, even mares tails. You image shows some beautiful colour long may it continue.

I’m the same but am learning a lot and planning everything out. Bought a tree last week – a flamingo willow to break up a large expanse of green lawn. Every time I go out, something different has come into bloom. Sitting with a cuppa, it’s my little corner of peacefulness 8-)
