    Activity ideas?

    Hello everyone,
My son Jack (10) is a DMD sufferer and as the holiday season is approaching I am trying to think of things we can do together during the holidays. Has anyone got any good ideas/suggestions :?:

I’ve done the London Dungeons, it was really good. Accessible too for wheelchairs.

Jack2000 — if we knew what area of the country you were, we might be able to offer something more pertinent. Have you tried looking on the web for your local tourist information office, they may be a gold mine of info for you.

    if its Scotland

the new Glasgow Transport Museum is due to open.

the Glasgow Art Gallery Kelvin Grove is disabled friendly with good parking.

The Glasgow Science centre is really good and full of touch and do science stuff. really good parking, good eating area and average size disabled loos on each floor. a big cinema venue in building as well.

What about Blair Drummond Safarri park. only part that may be a struggle would be the boat ride that goes past the monkey island. I had bother getting off, had to be man handled. a wheelchair couldnt go on. but its a good day out(if the sun shines)

    try

What about Duthie Park in Aberdeen? It boasts the second largest Bromeliads and Giant Cacti in Britain, beaten only by the Eden Project!

    My girls like it anyway;-)

Since you are from the Scotland, there some special holiday inns there where you and your son can keep yourself together. I suggest you visit some of them to know which one is good for you.
