Pain at any age is unpleasant and all consuming, but in a little one, it must hurt your heart.

Does heat help? I am thinking things like the microwaveable heatpads/bean filled bears etc. Howabout a warmbath, does that ease tension and also offer some fun distraction. I would loathe to suggest any medication as really for one so young you need a medical professionals advice.

You may need to become a nag Mum, professionals don’t always appreciate the severity, or the distress of an issue, so you may have to resort to more frequent GP contact/visits to keep on at them about the pain level.

Does your little one see a physiotherapist – they may have ideas or be able to add weight to your concerns with GP’s and Consultants.

Are you in contact with MD’s Regional Care Advisor for your area – these are fabulous people, such a wealth of information, locally as well as nationally. you can find the contact details for yours by following this link – Care Advisors Contact
