Worms

I see from an article on BBC news that worms are to be flown into space soon to examine the effect of weightlessness on muscle structure. Apparently they are very similar to us. It is hoped that this research would help not just astronauts but also folk with diabetes and muscular dystrophy.
Personally I would be happy to take the seat of one of the worms and then they could have a real test subject to play with! Clearly will all hope that it will help move us all closer to a cure for our condition.
