    Wheelchair Cushion

I have been using a manual wheelchair when I am out for a while now, but I am finding I am having a problem with the cushion.
When I sit on the cushion for more than half an hour or so I find that when I do finally transfer to another seat or get home, I am finding that my trousers are absolutely drenched through sweating. It is just uncomfortable and slightly embaresing.
I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem and if anyone has any ideas as to what to do.

    Thanks

I tend to take off the vinyl/nylon covers and put on a faux sheepskin cover.

You can get fleece-covered cushions fairly cheaply. A friend of mine has a sort of sheepskin (well, probably, as catatude says, faux sheepskin) that sits on top of her actual cushion.

In an emergency, a small towel on top of the cushion can help.
