    Trouble drinking

    I have Duchenne MD and am 30. I had a PEG tube fitted in December 2014 and have put weight on. The thing I hadn’t into account is how quickly my swallow would deteriorate. Not for eating but drinking. All I crave is drinking a cold glass of mineral water without gagging or choking and some of it clinging to my throat. Does anybody have some advice?

    Liquid thickener! Mines made by Nestle & called Resource thickin-up.
    Disgusting unless drinks are nicely chilled.
