David Brindle writes in the Gaurdian “Personal budgets have been berated by some in the media. Paul Burstow insists he’ll take on the Daily Mail for the sake of choice”…
I like this quote from Sandra Gidley, who lost her seat at the general election: “It has yet to be seen whether Paul will have the cojones to press for a fair system against the vested interests of the Conservatives’ friends within the insurance industry”.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Personally I’m all for anything that either prolongs or reinforces the independence of the individual, irrespective of their disability using the guideline of commonsense, a rare quality but, like the Snow Leopard, still believed to exist in remote places!
