    Sky Go……

Last month I was saying SKY TV was a load of overpriced
rubbish and the good bits of it like SKY PLUS were available
    elsewhere for a lot less.

On a point of balance. The new Sky Go service is superb and
especially for MD people with movement issues.

There are adverts for it all over the place. So yesterday I signed
up for it. It took literally two minutes and there I was watching all
my lovely sport wirelessly on the LapTop for free.

When it got hot in the afternoon, I simply retired to the cool bed
and watched it there. Had an early night and was watching the Golf live
from USA from my bed. Magic !

    Thanks Sky.

    That is the sycophants review.

    Here is the slight downside.

It is superb and so convenient. But for sport it is slightly jerky at
times and takes about thirty seconds to load. You do of course
have to be a Sky Subscriber and sign up to a Sky ID (and on mailing list).

A cynic (me) would also say this is only free because the paid version of this at
£ 6 / month failed completely earlier in the year and that this and the
SKY subscription price freeze are only due to the Murdoch people trying
to prove what nice guys they really are.

None the less, great service for MD people. Forgot to say, it is also
available as an App on iPhone or iPad.

Hmm … I recently did a mini evaluation of my tv viewing and basically, I didn’t, lol. I am a freeview viewer, where I live cannot cater for sky or virgin [think crinklies who refuse to have things attached to buildings or pay for something that is essentially free or just do not comprehend it] The standard, quality, variety of viewing has declined considerably over the past couple of years.
