This seems like the best place to put this, if it isn’t could a mod please move it?
A young woman I’d never heard of or met read a story about me on the MDC website and tweeted me to say I had inspired her to raise money for the campaign, I was really shocked and humbled, feels amazing to have inspired someone to do something so worthwhile, you can read about my exact reaction on my blog http://www.bullsworld.net/2013/02/09/nesta-roberts-shark-diver/ and sponsor her here http://www.justgiving.com/Nesta-Roberts
I’d really appreciate it if people could spread the word to help her get more sponsorship, she seems an amazing young lady and so kind to call me an inspiration.
Thank you,
Daniel.

Woteva next.
When someone reads your words and it has a profound effect on them it does bring up such a range of emotions, doesn’t it Daniel? You feel elated that someone read you, lol, psyched that you made sense, humbled that it provoked someone to comment and then
panic to keep the blog impetus, guilt that maybe I’ve ‘over-done’ the how-I-cope thing [because to my eyes I don’t] and deflated that I cannot do more to support the commentor.
I need to shake the sofa and see how much falls out
Daniel – do you have any more details about the dive … where and when? Is there a site where we can see what is involved??

March 5, 2013 at 1:10 pm #88010Re: Shark DivingPretty amazing that my words moved someone to dive with sharks, I could understand if they’d met me lol, I’m enough to drive anyone crazy I think this is the event http://www.muscular-dystrophy.org/get_involved/fundraising_events/5581_dive_with_sharks.
I do enjoy writing blog posts, just hard to get myself going sometimes, a friend pushed me to write the ones that inspired Nesta, first time I had been really open about myself, the posts are here if you want a read http://notevena.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/DanielsStoryPart1.html The response I got was amazing, I just get on with life so didn’t expect it, didn’t really think anyone would be interested either.
Daniel.
March 7, 2013 at 3:38 pm #88012Re: Shark Divingi wouldnt be surprised if the government came up with the idea of swimming with sharks. to cut down on disabled benefit claims. only it would be “swimming with great whites. without a cage”.
