    Safety Examination……

I have had my annual Safety Examination.

This was arranged by the Regional MD Advisor about four years ago but is actually done by
The Care agency, Care and Repair.

Most things were OK, just needed a couple of extra Safety Grab Rails bringing my total to
20 now. There is virtually nowhere in my home where I cannot reach out and get support.

They checked my electrics and my new seated shower got rave reviews. Last year they even
Found a reputable tradesman for my stonework repair.

The big recommendation was about the four metre walk down my front path to put the rubbish
And recycling out. They suggested putting a heavy duty, galvanised metal handrail down the
path to avoid stumbling onto hard concrete. After a short talk with them I realised money was
Not part of the decision and this was vital and long overdue. They come on Friday and I
    Feel very content.

Glad professional people have overseen everything. Nil worry.

congrats on the grab rail on your path. i had a right farse with the council to get one installed. they even suggested that i put 1 in myself, as it would be a lot cheaper than me getting a tradesman in. :bang: .
however, i did eventually get one installed but only after i asked who was in charge of property adaptions. that way i knew who to sue, when i fell and broke something. it was quite amazing because 1 week later they turned up and put one in.
