Some of you may know me, and I imagine most of you will not, so let me introduce myself. My name is Pete Jones and I’m 26 years old. I live and work in Milton Keynes.

I am taking part in a charity Cycle Ride from London To Paris in aid of the West Midlands Neuromuscular Centre.

I will be using it to keep all my supporters updated on my training progress and any further information relevant to the challenge, and as a way of raising awareness of the challenge I am undertaking in aid of the The West Midlands Neuromuscular Centre.

The aim is to create a Neuromuscular Centre of excellence in the heart of the West Midlands. To offer a full range of treatments including specialised Physiotherapy and on site Hydrotherapy along with complimentary therapies which will enhance and maintain the benefits achieved by receiving ongoing treatment and care.
A print and design centre, will be available to enable people to gain qualifications and hopfully lead to employment, and also a cafe area to meet up, make friends and share experiences of living with a neuromuscular condition. The centre will cover all of the West Midlands however clients are expected to travel from much further away to access the facilities that the centre will have to offer.

Living and coping with Muscular Dystrophy or a neuromuscular condition has a huge impact on individuals and families, with all aspects of life being affected
