Hey guys how’s it going? I’ve spent a bit of time looking through the forums, but I’m a new user and just thought I’d say hello! I’m bobby, I’m 19 and have Duchenne MD.
In my spare time (when I’m not busy stressing out over my uni work!) I play video games, FIFA most of the time. I also love to watch sports, football especially. Also watching tv & films (any genres good for me), and have a wide taste in music.
My condition does get a little overwhelming at times, and gets to me quite a bit sometimes, but I just try as best I can to get on with things.

We are glad you have found us. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Very pleased that you seem to do all sorts of stuff at uni and in your spare time. It
is good to be busy and have a lot of interests. We have many threads on sports
and music and like to chat about these things. You would not be human if things were not overwhelming at times. Feel free to
browse the forum, chat away or just vent. Your attitude to just get on with things is to be admired."Even if you are not paranoid, it does not mean they are not out to get you!".

Yes, I am glad Nadal is back on form too.
Web Design, I would LOVE to have learnt that ‘properly’ instead of the amateur efforts, self teaching and googling I have done – I have my own site which is done via iWeb on my Mac, but the other site http://www.stcgibb.com is mainly self written, with a little help from dreamweaver eons ago. Still can’t be all that bad seeing as many think i am ‘his’ professional/official webby dudette.

June 11, 2013 at 9:09 pm #89372Re: new user:)I’ve got to say typing code out on dreamweaver is not as extremely difficult as I thought it would be at first – you get used to the shortcuts, like clicking to add little elements in, it saves so much time than typing the whole code out. that said though, it is certainly challenging, especially actually designing the site, you know, making it look nice, usable etc.
I’ve had a little look at the site you’ve done, it looks very good, easy to get around and navigate too
I have a portfolio site you may want to check out http://newmedia.artdesignhull.ac.uk/rshearer/ – it showcases the projects i’ve done so far, it’s also got some side assignments I did as part of the course, it could be an interesting read

I used Dreamweaver to get things set in asic elements, then I changed to a mac computer [awesome] and didn’t want to send the money on the dreamweaver suite so use a html editor to achieve the up-dates extra pages etc. My next project is to tidy the media pages, the vids need reformatting to work on phones, tablets as well as pc/mac and I want to tidy the files. Backroom work as it were.
