    muscular dystrophy

Hi, I have FSHD and have some problems, I would like to know if these problems are the norm with this condition.
My bone joints seem to be grinding on each other, is this caused by the deterioration of the muscles. Is there any way of relieving this pain, or is it one of those things we have to grin and bare?
Many thanks in advance for your help in this matter

I have FSH, I don’t have much pain, but I do get aches, stretches and strains. I cannot say I’ve felt my joints grinding into each other though, but everyone is different.

Have you tried a tens machine for your pain control?

Hi, Many thanks for your reply, and no, I haven’t tried those machines yet, as I don’t think its muscular, I am incline to think that the muscle has gone that far, it is allowing my arms to get heavy, thus the bones joints seem to grind together.
I still will make enquires around, and if I come up with any thing of interest you other suffers, then I shall post it here for all to see.
