    Muscular Dystrophy

    Hi there,

    I am a 53 year old Irish female with Limb Girdle MD and was only diagnosed about 11 years ago after a partial diagnosis 12 years before that. I use a walking aid to get around and sadly no longer drive a car. As a new subscriber to this forum and registered with Muscular Dystrophy Ireland, I would just like to communicate with others with my type of muscular Dystrophy in the UK.

    I have CMD SEPN1. We often find that no matter the MDs we often share similar experiences :P

    Hi, I’m Sarah and have Ullrich CMD (Collagen VI). As Cat says, there are many crossovers between the different sub-types.
