    More Free Music….

Microsoft are making a big effort to join the streaming music revolution.

X Box Music is a streaming music service giving access to 28 million songs.

This is very similar to Spotify and has paid and free versions.

You can very simply sign up to the free version which is Ad supported and get full access
to all 28 million songs. After six moths I believe you are limited to ten hours a month.

You do not need an X Box to use the service. All you need is a Microsoft Account to use it fully. If
you are on Windows 8 or have an X Box or other Microsoft device you already have an account. If
not it is simple and free to sign up.

After a couple of hours of browsing and playing, it all seems free, no payment has been asked for, the
quality is very high and the Ads are not very intrusive. Obviously the do want you to buy tracks or
go for the £ 8.99 a month add free service but it looks good.

Me thinks before long the ‘free’ music streaming bubble will go bang. The industry won’t like losing all that revenue.

I got it wrong 30 million tracks not 28 million.

You are right there are so many of them now, there has to be a saturation limit
    somewhere.

Surely some people are just recording the music as it is streamed anyway.
