Several of us were musing about buying the Kindle or other e-reader.
Stumbled across an amazing bargain on E-Bay.
200,000 e-books for £ 4.00 (Two hundred Thousand)
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150655141654?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
Is this too good to be true ? Where is the catch. Being E-bay I can see
about a hundred people have bought from him and are satisfied, his feedback
is 100% positive.Even if one in a hundred is any good it would be 2000 books.
This might make the purchase of a Kindle more attractive if you have thousands
of books waiting for it. I thought you had to pay about £ 10 per book.Where is the catch ?

similar offers. They come on DVD’s, you can store or on
your PC / laptop etc…..play them on PC, iPhone, android etc.If it sounds too good to be true ?

August 31, 2011 at 9:19 am #81936Re: Massive Kindle Bargain…..Hiya, no your not being thick and there is probably no catch involved but if everything goes tits up then contact customer services. jJust use paypal when you do buy them because if it does go tits up, they will refund purcheses up to 500 pounds if it goes wrong.
What you can do is put whatever ones you want to read first on the device and then change them around for the ones you have stored on your Pc.
You can probably even get the kindle online through ebay if you don’t already have one.
Don’t panic! I am sure there is no catch and everything will be ok.
Good luck! :-)August 31, 2011 at 9:33 am #81935Re: Massive Kindle Bargain…..@skel2 wrote:

One question where did you get the tablet from? Was that also form ebay?
Yes. On E-Bay…….
Normally these 7 inch screen Android Tablet go for about £ 60 – £ 65. Put
in a silly bid and got it.This is the one :-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Eken-M009S-3G-ePad-7-Inch-Google-Android-2-2-Tablet-PC-/180699650665?pt=UK_iPad_Tablets_eReaders&hash=item2a1289da69It surfs internet, does e-mail, plays music and video, camera and runs all
the apps from the Android marketplace, including Kindle one, so
it does exactly what a Kindle does but on a bigger screen."Even if you are not paranoid, it does not mean they are not out to get you!".
September 6, 2011 at 11:04 am #81939Re: Massive Kindle Bargain…..4 x DVD with incredible number of allsorts of e-books in wide variety of formats.
Most common format is PDF which is fine for me as it works fine on PC, laptop, Seven inch tablet
and Ipod touch. The Ipod screen is too small for any e-book at 3.1/2 inches and the seven inch#is a bit difficult
so Kindle at six inches must be worse. No kindle format, but you can easily convert. Second most common format TXT files which i convert
to PDF simply. Some old formats (WRI, LIT etc), but they can be converted. The Lit ones immediately
get read aloud by Microsoft Reader – did not expect that.Content – allsorts.
Thought it would be all dead “Public Domian” stuff
Includes modern authors Cussler, King, Rowling, Forsyth, Reichs, Patterson, Smith, Cornwell etc….and if an
author is there it is everything he has written. Thousands on self-help books, travel guides, how too books on
every subject under the sun and one whole DVD with hundreds of the “Dummies” guides to everything.Very confusing but doing a randon sample of about 50 they all work and have to be woth the price.

September 8, 2011 at 2:33 pm #81941Re: Massive Kindle Bargain…..Wowzers. That sounds bloody brilliant. All those ebooks will keep you occupied for a fair while me thinks.
At the moment I only have my phone to get acces the web etc and am looking into how much things cost so that I can set my savings target at that price. Still torn between a tablet and a netbook. Choices Choices. lolSeptember 8, 2011 at 2:47 pm #81942Re: Massive Kindle Bargain…..Tablet/laptop/notebook are not for me, because of the position I need to be in to type. One day I can see me going along the Kindle route, but for now I’ll stick with booky books.

What a nightmare finding the exact angles and position for each of our
own weird muscle configuration. We will get there though, I keep making breakthroughs. Phone
calls or Books give pains in forearm after 1-2 minutes, so…I have two, wheeled “Overbed” Trollies that go over bed or sofa, so there is no twisting. New
adjustable Laptop stand (£2 in charity shop). E-Books running on 15.6 inch screen in
Auto-Scroll mode with wireless mouse. Like Trevor Mcdonald on his Autocue I am….
and a Loudspeaker Phone…..Problems being solved faster than they come up.
