    Lanyards……

    Lanyards are neckstraps.

If you have problems with your hands or arms or stagger
a bit you will have problems carrying things or dropping
    things.

Have your valuable items on a lanyard around your neck. Mobile
phones, Ipods, Cameras, Radios, don’t wait till you lose
    or damage them.

Also you are less likely to stumble / fall if you are not
    worrying about your gadjets.

Bought pack of ten for £ 3 on E-bay.

Also you do not lose things with a gaily coloured strap attached to it.

    Re: Lanyards……

When I went to America I got one in Disney and it had a rubber ring thing that you could put on a water bottle and the lanyard could be made bigger so you could wear it accross your body rather than just around your neck.

Keep trying to looking for a lanyard thing for my ipod but only seem to get them for newer ones. It’s really annoying as I got a case from Paperchase a few years ago and it came with a clip that you could clip onto yourself or onto a lanyard but the clip broke grrr.

Lanyards are great for keys so you don’t drop them on the floor (unlike me who dropped my car keys on the floor while getting in my car, luckily the car was unlocked so could lean on the chair to bend down to pick the keys off my drive!) I’ve dropped my keys so many times going from work to my car, strolling along swinging my arm and the keys go flying! Keep them in my pocket until I get to the car now!

I found that the bungee type reels you can get are great to attach to lanyards as I work in a police building with tag entry on all our doors and I’m then able to pull my tag and touch it on the sensor without having to bend down.
