    Barry age 52 served 9 years in Army with CMT 1A,how I don’t know I look back now and THINK how the hell did I do that .Sadly now use a wheelchair and divorced all thanks to CMT 1A my younger Sister and Brother has been diagnosed IT HAS BEEN A SHOCK TO US ALL

    My hat off to you for your service. Even in the best of health its not easy, with your condition it must have been a mountain to climb. Clearly with your sister and brother having it too it will be very difficult for your whole family. Are there any children involved?

    i SOMEHOW PASSED ALL TRAING NEVER HAD SPEED BUT HAD ENDURANCE IN 89 RAN/LIMPED 8 MILES ON A BROKEN FOOT :D :D :D :D :D

    Thats very impressive more especially considering your CMT. How is your daughter dealing with it? I guess having soeone like you she will feel as though much is possible.

    My Daghter is now a mother,but she knows how impiort keeping active
    sadly because of CMT my 23years ended my marriage-BUT SHE KNOWS SHE MUST BE ACTIVE MIND AND BODY

    Barry and daughter, I could not agree more. As my condition worsens and I have to stop doing various things, I have always made a point of keeping my mind active at the same time as trying to do whatever I can physically. Fortunately my wife is 120% supportive, and helps me a lot, even its its encouraging me to get out and do more. All of my children are also very supportive too. That said I still take my hat off to you for doing all those things in your life, I am sure your children are very proud of you.

    Vijay from India. Age 36. Having Limb-Girdle Muscular Dystrophy and wheelchair dependent
    I am working and need to earn more to pay for my medical support and home care taker. I have aged father who has same LGMD and aged mother to take care with. If any one could help me to get online/work_from_home kind of jobs from your country could be highly appreciated.
