hello!!!

hello I’m new to all of this quite nervous about posting tbh im a mum of a little boy who has duchenne muscular dystrophy

my name is Sharon im 23 live in the uk I have two beautiful boys mason who’s 4 and reagen-jay who’s 2.
reagen-jay has just recently been diagnoised with duchenne muscular dystrophy
I understand a fair bit of it and what to expect later on in life.
im just waiting to be tested to see if im a carrier of it, theres no known causes in my family so they’ve told me the chances are very unlikely and its just happened whilst I was pregnant with him.
I would like to hear your stories and experiences of having a young child with duchenne.
