To all our brave, intrepid, and slightly mad Marathon Runners, best foot forward for Sunday.
Thank you for every blister, cramp, broken lace and endless efforts

My hero. I already thought he was the canines doo-dahs for walking Gwenny for me every day.
A mate of mine or maybe I should call him a family friend, Michael, is also running for same reason & a friend of a different bruv too, Mark I believe. Great men to commit themselves to one of so many deserving causes in such a demnding way. The thought of it makes my knees wobble but, I do like the idea of wearing a lot of orange (my favourite colour).
To all running, don’t try to break records, I hope you all just finish safe. Being up before 8am on a Sunday makes you all winners to me
April 14, 2014 at 10:37 pm #94201Re: GO TEAM ORANGEWell done to all Team Orange who ran the marathon. A colleague of mine did it in a respectable 4 hrs 20 and raised £4500 in the process with donations still coming in.
I’m not fit to do that sort of stuff so I’ve signed up to do some bucket collections over the summer.
Will we find out how much team Orange runners raise in total for the marathon?
Thanks
Gill
