    Fundraising

My son died last year and his favourite uncle has MD, we are hoping to have a bike and car show in his memorium the first one being this July, with any proceeds going to MD, we wondered if anyone had any ideas on this, we are aware that we will need public liability insurance and probably some security. Has anyone done anything like this before and if so what helpful advice can you give?? We live in Suffolk and didnt know if MD provide any buckets for collections etc? Any helpful information would be appreciated. Many Thanks

I am sorry to hear about your son, and having a bike and car show in his memoriam is a great way to celebrate his life and raise money at the same time. Charlotte Allen, is the Volunteer Fundraising Manager for where you live http://www.muscular-dystrophy.org/about/our_team/regional_fundraising_support/3612_fundraising_support_in_the_west_midlands and she will be able to offer you all the advice and support that you will need with your event. So please do get in contact with her.
