March 26, 2013 at 5:37 pm #73821Forum Rules – Please Read
For the attention of all members and guests
We want everyone to enjoy using TalkMD, so we have put together some house rules to make sure the forum is a safe and comfortable place for people with muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular conditions to meet, share experiences and exchange helpful information.
We also welcome input from health care professionals, campaigners, scientists and fundraisers who want to help us fight muscle-wasting conditions.
If you’re a new member, your first 5 posts will be moderated and will not show up on the boards straight away. We’ve had a lot of spammers in the past and had to implement this ‘rule’ to improve the forum experience for all users. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this causes and we hope you understand. We endeavour to publish your posts as quickly as we can.
This forum is for adults over 18. If you’re 18 or under you might want to join Trailblazers – our national network of young campaigners. Visit their website for more information – https://oldsite.musculardystrophyuk.org/campaign-for-independent-living/trailblazers/
